Career In Designing - Is It Still Feasible In The Current Market Scenario?

Covid has hampered everyone’s plans. The market was down, and career opportunities were scarce. Similarly, there were doubts cast around the feasibility of a career in designing. However, it is not the case anymore. 2021 has shown that things are returning to normal along with the market demand for designers.

According to KPMG India and Pearl Academy's 2021 research on the future of creative occupations, the design sector and design professionals are at the vanguard of reinventing how every product and experience will be built in the future.

Personalization, increased online activity, and technologies such as the Internet of Things, virtual reality, and 3D printing are encouraging designers to reconsider harnessing user-centric data for better product creation. Despite India Inc.'s delayed hiring due to the epidemic last year, design experts were in high demand.

To keep up with the virtual world, corporations employed user experience analysts, UI/UX designers, graphic designers, and design application consultants. Graduate and post-graduate design students are also offered competitive pay packages by technology firms.

Tech-driven companies like Innovaccer, Capgemini, IBM, and Accenture saw communication design and product design students as a good fit. They are evaluated on their attitude, behaviour, and soft skills in addition to their design expertise and technical talents.

Design, one of the least likely professions to be influenced by automation, will continue to expand into a hybrid business that is regarded as both technical and artistic. User research, digital product designer, information architect, usability analyst, voice interface designer, design strategist, and creative technologist are some of the newest job categories in design.

Now the important question remains, which college to pursue design best from? While you may find answers on Google, you can be certain that Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will be included everywhere.

Bachelor of Design programme is available at SID in Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication. Industrial and Communication Design schools also provide specialisations. Under Communication, you can select from Graphic, Video, Animation, and User Experience design. Product and Interior Space Design are covered in the Industrial Design course.

Students are exposed to the working environment in the industries as part of the tours. This also helps students learn how the machinery and processes function in real-time.SID's participation extends beyond education. Through their placement cell, SID also actively provides professional options and opportunities to students.

With all of the offered learning options and job chances, there are more than enough reasons to select SID. So, if you want to start your career in design, then SID is one of the best for designing colleges in Pune.
